Smit Dangaria, DDS
Dr. Smit Dangaria is the founding dentist of Shining Stars Kids Dental, which is located in mid-city neighborhood of Los Angeles. Dr. Smit received a Ph.D. in Bioengineering (graduating summa cum laude) from the University of Illinois, Chicago, in 2010, and his DDS degree (summa cum laude) from University of Southern California Ostrow School of Dentistry in 2016. He has over six years of experience in pediatric dentistry.
Throughout his years at USC and beyond, Dr. Dangaria has shown his compassion and commitment to the Los Angeles community and children through his work at dental clinics and non-profit community health organizations, specializing in children’s dental care and patients with special needs. It was this passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives that led him to found his own dental practice in mid-city Los Angeles.
In his free time, Dr. Dangaria likes to do activities with his family and dogs, Garfield and Indra. He loves to play tennis, go on canyon hikes and go for walks along the beach.
Dr. Dangaria is the author of several peer-reviewed publications in the field of stem cells, biomaterials and dental tissue regeneration. He is also a reviewer for several scientific journals.
